Moodle 2 upgrade problems

I've noticed two problems with using iOS with the latest rendition of Moodle - would be keen to know if anyone has a way around the faults...

1)  Selecting HOME from the top menu should bring up a drop-down menu with "Course Finder" in it.  On iOS it DOES bring up the menu, but then it disappears before there is any opportunity to select Course Finder.

2)  PDF files seem to want to embed themselves in a Moodle viewer now.  As a result, my own PDF files are only displaying portrait and only displaying the first page (and top of the second page) with no way to move them.  Again this only pertains to iOS systems.

Hi, yes both issues seem fine in Google Chrome. However the embeded PDF's are a bit of a pain - I'd rather students be able to see the pdf full screen.

Another issue I;ve noticed with re-sizing the screen, there doesn't seem to be a left right scroll, in course grades some columns are off the edge.

I'm wondering if the pdf issues are client not server related - it is possible to set your machine to open with... rather than embed in the browser.

Have changed option (now that I am a teacher) to DOWNLOAD PDF rather than "Automatic". Works fine like that. Still problem with drop down menus, and have contacted you already about the assign roles error on Firefox and IE8.
